A couple of weeks back, Facebook announced the date and location of the biggest carnival of the year for Facebook application developers. According to the press release this year’s conference will return to its original roots, i.e. this year’s Facebook application developers conference will be developer-focussed. This means there will be one-on-one engineers and team members for each and every participant of the conference. However, this may result in limited seats for the conference. The registration for the conference has been closed a few days back.

Facebook has been conducted developers conference for quite some time. The main purpose of such conferences is to increase, engage and spread awareness  among the young Facebook application developers. Third party developers have played a vital role in Facebook’s development all these years and Facebook knows the potential of such participations. In the past, we have seen some pretty good results from such conferences. The Open Graph and Get Connected are the direct results from previous F8s.

Overall, it is a wonderful opportunity and every new and young developer should seek a way in. If you have not got the chance to participate into this year’s F8. Be ready to participate in next year’s developer conference. Meanwhile, you can follow all the action happening around F8 right here on our blog.
