Launch of Yosemite by Apple at World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC)

Apple recently launched the latest version of Mac OS X operatingsystem. CEO of Apple marked its launch as a great invention for everyone, and especially for iPhone application developers. The operating system is named as a Yosemite, and it is featured with new icons and menu bars. It contains great streaming capabilities, which enable the integration of data between different apple devices in real time. This will provide greater interchangeable experience to users on their iPhone. Current email app of apple missed some basic feature and also gets sluggish, if there is a large archive stored on it. Top app developers for iPhone expecting Yosemite as a speedier app.

Yosemite has empowered with an “exiting” feature for messaging, it contains the whole bunch of features from Snapchat and WhatsApp. Now you can do group conversations and can add custom titles to messages. Yosemite also has the capability to record short audio messages. Yosemite now allows users to answer phone calls coming to their iPhone from their Mac, which then works as a speakerphone. It also enables users to send and receive messages from their Mac, even without using their phone. It also improvises the feature of Instant hotspot, which will be easier to setup and use this time.

The addition of new Mail Drop allows users to send images or files up to 5GB, and keep that data encrypted in the clouds. As its free storage capacity starts with 5GB, so it is comparatively better than Dropbox that’s provide 2GB free storage capacity, but still no good as Google that’s provide 15GB free storage capacity. This new update also provides very competitive pricing for those users, who want to store their whole iPhoto archive on the cloud. There is an option of 20GB (.99 cents per month) or 200GB ($3.99 per month).
